David prepared a great seafood salad with all sorts of goodies for lunch today, with the marvelous Leslie Campbell joining us for the meal taken with chop sticks. Ron was also able to sit with us before he went off to the hospital for his “other” job. We four pushed our chairs away from the table with great satifaction as we were all delightfully full.
David has been working in other mediums and I think you should take a look:
These pieces are from working at Pratt in Seattle as Artist in Residence (bronze) and from Penland, North Carolina as Visiting Artist (glass).
David has a new gallery he will be showing with here in Seattle. It is the Pacini Lubel Gallery, 207 2nd Ave S, Seattle, Washington, www.pacinilubel.com. We will let you know as soon as David has work at the gallery.
Bellevue Arts Museum is interested in taking David’s custom bead wall out of his studio and show it with his work when David’s show opens in late September.
Meanwhile, this busy schedule has taken its toll.
And then I too had some decaf coffee today, which we all know still has caffeine in its cup. We’re all off the wagon.
