David made eggplant cutlets with red sauce and a big bowl of veggies for lunch. Ron and I ate heartily and with thanks.

Today we have the oppurtunity to peer over David’s shoulder while he works in his purple chair.

What’s he up to? See last week’s blog and get thyself to SOFA Chicago!
Enjoy,
Your,
G.G.M.

Hello there.

We had lovely guests today and they brought with them a lovely lunch for all. Let’s review the guest list: Chris, Sue and Betsy. Lunch: pear cider, veggie quiche, olives, fruit salad, dolmas and cookies. Thanks gang for the fabulous company and food.

Now, going upstairs to David’s studio we find the hand is back. It’s going to SOFA Chicago and will be with the Snyderman-Works Gallery. David is also giving a lecture at SOFA on November 10th. The lecture is sponsored by Friends of Fiber Art International and will be held on Friday morning. Stop by if you are in Chicago and near the Navy Pier.

I hope you all had a great Monday and we’ll talk again next week.
XXXOOO
your G.G.M.

Passing along an email from Stuart K and Susan W:

Dear Friends,

We want to let you know about an initiative of Voices of September 11
(www.voicesofsept11.org) and invite you to participte.

At 7:00 pm in local time zones, on September 11th, 2006, VOICES encourages
individuals and communities at home and abroad to light a candle privately,
publicly and in unison in memory of those who perished and survived on 9/11
and our international community affected by terrorism.

Join us in this initiative on the fifth anniversary of September 11th - in
anyway you’d like.

May we work together for peace and love in our world.
