Ron is holding down Head Quarters and David will return from Pilchuck at the end of the week.
I updated David’s Links Page on the website today. If you want to cruise through…take a look here.
One particular link you should take note of: Craft Emergency Relief Fund.
CERF is an amazing organization dedicated to helping artists. Their relief efforts for artists impacted by Katrina are to be commended.
Cornelia Carey, CERF Executive Director, has written some incredible blogs about her experiences while traveling to witness the loss and devastation.
NOLA artist, Thomas Mann responds to living through and beyond Katrina in his show Storm Cycle. Read Ornament’s review.
Order his book Storm Cycle here.
Hey there folks!
David is up at Pilchuck working hard having fun. Meanwhile, back at headquarters…
an ordinary photo documenting the wonderous - sunshine in Seattle.
Have a great week.

Hey there,
I’m here for a late week update.
I hope your week is going well. Thursday has always been my favorite day…the anticipation of Friday and then sleeping in on Saturday…all mental milk and cookies.
Speaking of metal milk and cookies, David has just completed the last piece for 108 Meditations.
I hope you enjoyed looking through those and I’ll see you again if a few days.

Your,
G.G.M.
Lynda and I had lunch atop the Tower today.
A lovely meal from the Taco Del Mar from up the street on 15th.
This is our view from atop
the tower.
It was a frantic day, with all the bustle of packing
and cleaning and getting ready to leave tomorrow morning for two weeks at Pilchuck.
Unfortunately I don’t get to go. But David and our good
friend Karil Craig are attending a Glass Casting Class at Pilchuck
School of Glass.
I can hear you saying, “but didn’t david just take a
Glass Casting Class?”
and you would be right, he did!
We wish them well on another two week outing.
later,
Ronco
