Hello there, Dear Reader.
I’m still full from today’s lunch. David was busy in the kitchen this morning and made quiche, cole slaw, asparagus and for dessert, one of his famous fruit crisps. Today’s guests for Monday Lunch were Sharon C., Annamarie, Allyson R, David, Ron and your G.G.M.
Aware of celebrating and recognizing International Worker’s Day we took a long respectful lunch in solidarity.
Sharon and Annamarie brought David’s brooch for him to photograph as it has been away visiting other spaces and places.
Here’s a current look at the state of the studio and house…
We sent David’s contribution for the Seattle Public Theater Auction today. The Auction will be held Sunday, May 31st at the Bathouse Theater, here in Seattle. David and I will be going and we hope to see you there too. If you want tickets or more information and even previews of auction items visit their website. David’s donation included a fabulous beaded key, a catalog from the BAM show and Monday Lunch here at the Big House. I’m already in a bidding war for it myself. Watch out Marc.
I want to give a special shout out to: John, Kathy, Shannon and Kelsey Lubetich. Thanks for the tickets to the baseball game! We had a grand time eating garlic fries and watching Ichiro almost clinch the game in the bottom of the ninth.
I also want to pass along this great site sent to me by the fabulous printer/author Debra F. Everyone, look forward to her novel, all about the life of the gal printer. Perhaps I could link installments here on the blog…Debra?….
